Marketing and Business Development Executive

The Role
This role sits within our marketing and sales team and is responsible for delivering marketing plans and across two areas: building our local brand presence and speaking to qualified prospects within Oxford and acquiring new clients for the whole Gravita group.
This is an exciting role for an independent person looking for a generalist role to deepen and develop broad marketing and sales experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquire new clients for Gravita:
- Work with the rest of the prospect marketing team on producing campaigns across different channels including:
- Email outreach
- Content – Articles, videos, social posts, one pagers
- Webinars/events
- Develop a deep understanding of the services that Gravita provides in order to come up with new campaign ideas
- Build relationships with stakeholders to run successful campaigns
Run Oxford marketing and new business activity:
- Brand: Support the team, office and local events and activity with necessary branded materials
- Support partners in Oxford with tender documents
- Data and reporting: Work with data team to keep our CRM updated with Oxford client data, new prospects and introducer contact details
- Planning, execution and follow up of seminars/events both in the office and co-hosted in other locations
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
- Proven experience in a growth-focused business in a sales, BD or Marketing role
- Able to work with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority and support them (with central marketing team) to develop ideas and campaigns
- Organized and structured approach to running campaigns
- Excellent interpersonal skills across all methods of communication
- Comfortable producing copy for a variety of mediums
- Experience of professional services desirable

The Nitty Gritty
- Our standard working week is a 37.5-hour week on a hybrid basis
- Core working hours are 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday
