The Role
Owning and maintaining our PowerBI dashboard, working alongside finance and operations team. Reporting into the Head of FP&A, this role provides the opportunity to create and design a growing PowerBI dashboard, reporting key metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manipulate data from a datalake, through SQL and DAX queries in order to report key metrics in a dashboard
- Maintain and create data tables with stored calculations within the datalake
- Test and reconcile the output to the source data
- Identify and proactively correct errors or bugs in the dashboard
- Suggest effective ways to present the data
- Work with the IT infrastructure team to ensure the correct APIs are set up
- Ensure the data tables are maintained in an orderly manner
- Ensure documentation is maintained in a timely manner
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
- Previous experience creating dashboards in Power BI
- Previous experience with using SQL and DAX
- Understanding and experience with the datalake
- Ability to update and create data tables
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Eagerness to seek out solutions and work through challenges
- Experience with sanitising and reconciling data
- Experience with accountancy practice management systems (Iris / CCH) is ideal but not necessary
- Experience in a professional service firm ideal but not necessary
- Basic understanding of financial metrics ideal but not necessary

- Our standard working week is a 37.5-hour week on a hybrid basis
- Core working hours are 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday
